LS1 Tune question

Just curious how "off" my tune might be when I finally fire this thing up. The seller already tuned out EGR, A.I.R., rear O2's, gas tank pressure and evap, VATS, and set gear ratio and tire size (based on info I provided). The engine/tranny are 2000 Camaro SS, stock heads/cam, T56. I'm adding LS6 intake, SW headers & dual exhaust, which haven't been accounted for in the tune. I'm running a 4th gen LS1 tank (2001 f-body) with stock pump.

I'm assuming it will run, but might have "issues" at certain loads, conditions, etc.

Re: LS1 Tune question

When I put 02 Camaro computer with AIR and EGR out, my car had exsessively high NOx, and HC, despite other issues..while HC comes from high fuel pressure (i'll never trust all data again on the position of regulator on 02 Camaro), NOx most likely came from maps in computer that was programmed to work with both AIR and EGR, although both monitors were tuned out
now I'm adapting GTO computer, which is a whole another story of debugging...

Re: LS1 Tune question

You should be close on the tune. LS6 intake won't affect much at all for tune. The headers may give a slightly rich condition but thats fairly minor.
