Throttle Cable Question
I have an 83 Trans Am I'm putting a 94 Lt1 into. Will the 94 throttle cable work or should I get a different one.

The '94 throttle body won't have provision for the TV cable. Only the '93 LT1 TB had that.
Are you asking what a reverse valve body is, or what a TV cable is?
A "reverse valve body" (for those who do not know) is a transmission part that converts the shift pattern from P-R-N-OD-3-2-1 to P-R-N-1-2-3-OD. Whether or not you need the TV cable depends upon whether or not the valve body is reverse manual or reverse automatic.
A "TV" cable is the "throttle valve" cable. The throttle valve in the transmission valve body varies pressure in the transmission based on throttle position. This affects the firmness and RPMs of the shifts.

My guess would be you would not, but it would be best to verify that with the valve body manufacturer.

Re: Throttle Cable Question
I also used my 94 Z28 cable. I had to bend the pedal a little to get wide open throttle but it works great.
