LT1 price range
just wondering about how much a running lt1 would cost/go for? im in need of just a t-56 and i seen them priced at about 1500-1800. im looking at running 94 camaro and wondering if it would be worth buying just to get the trans i want.

Re: LT1 price range
i wasnt interested in the engine just its vaule. i found a running 4th gen and they were asking 3500 i just was wanting the trans lol.
Re: LT1 price range
If you have the $$ to spend $3500 for a complete car, and the t-56 are running $1500 - 1800 (which is what you need)
Why not just buy the tranny and be done with it?

The wheels are 9.5 x 18's all around. Front tires are 265/40/18 and backs are 275/40/18. No rubbing. Front spacers are 1.7's. (i have LS1 brakes). Backs are 2".

Well first of all it's best to have these conversations in PMs. But 2" spacers all around would work for you.

he said conversion i know that with parts from a 4th gen you wont need spacers and it will be safer if the adapters do break. i just dont know exactly what id need

Re: LT1 price range
as far as conversions i only know of people swapping in 4th gen rears and then wouldnt need the adapters on the rear. dont know of anythign for the front except the spacers.
i just got some spacers and i dont see them as breaking easily at all.
