the factory computer is under the dash on the passengers side..as far as the wiring goes...pull off the kick panel on the passengers side and theres a clip that holds it in..remove it and your inner fender and just pull the wiring through....i wouldnt just snip anything unless you know for sure what it goes to and that you wont be needing it...

Yep, everything that goes through the passenger side fender is for the old computer. I plan on re-using part of that harness though, going to run my a/c controls though that harness to make the engine bay look as clean as possible.

Some of the gauges and multiple fuses are ran by wiring from the C207 which connects near the PCM
If you start blindly snipping bundles of wires you will end up buying new harnesses to redo what you didnt bother to do right

The right answer is much better than several opinions.
Those who have been around awhile know this question has been answered many, many times, and always in the same way. So, a
would produce the same answer scamaro355 provided, and many times over.
Another way to look at it is if scamaro355 had provided erroneous information, someone would have chimed in.
Not trying to bust you or discourage you from posting/asking questions, just trying to explain how things tend to work here.
(To contradict myself slightly, the only thing scamaro355 could have added is you need to disconnect the harness from the ECM before you can pull the harness out through the fenderwell. But, if you couldn't figure that out when you got to that point, you're way over your head on this project, anyway.)
