5.3, 4L60E, DBW questions
Re: 5.3, 4L60E, DBW questions
i am doing a dbw 6.0 swap, the dbw system includes the pedal, TAC module, and DBW throttle body, and all wiring associated with it. some ecms can be switched to cable throttle, some not. mine not, so now i have the cable tb, cruise, and throttle cable off a 4th gen sitting in a box not being used. if you go cable and you need them pm me. John at speartech helped me figure out my ecm wasn't gonna do throttle cable, so i hope i can figure DBW out.

I did a 5.3/4L65e w/ DBW a year and a half ago.
I used the truck pedal completely cut apart and welded up to fit my likings, and a truck TAC module.
Wasnt all that hard, mounting the pedal to the firewall was the hard part, flat parts to curved surfaces makes things a task.

It could be argued that a cable draped across the top of the engine looks like crap.
Not that it's going to stop me. . .
