Double Checking Work...

Hello everyone... I'm working on the wiring part of my swap... almost complete. I need a little help from the board.

I posted pics so you all can get an idea of where I'm at. I'm stumped on a few things:

1. Should I have another wire soldered in to the white tachometer wires to run to the tach in side the car? Or is the signal required distributed throughout the fuse block somewhere?

2. For the cranking 12 volt wire, where should I connect this?

3. I am missing 2 wires for the ALDL port: the tan wire on the C220 and the white/black on the C230. I am also missing the orange wire on the C210. What is up with this?

Help...please...

I forgot to mention that the harness is from an auto 1995 Z28 Camaro

Re: Double Checking Work...

Im not totally familiar with that harness... But the 12v when cranking is for the circuits that need power while cranking. Know how when you crank your lights and radio will go off so more power is available from the battery? Well that wire will provide 12v with the key on, and keep 12v while cranking. So your injectors and ignition system has power to get the car fired up.

Re: Double Checking Work...

Thanks! Well, I found out why I'm missing the orange wire: here's why. I guess I should have done more research. As for the white wire,

I guess the 1995 or 1993 did not have the orange wire in the C210. Kind of weird, but that's how it goes sometimes with auto manufacturers.
