4l80e harness ???

I'm selling the trans i got with my 6.0L. Can i just cut the harness about where the converter is is send it with the buyer? I'd obviously cut it after the oil pressure sender ( at least i think it is, top rear sesnor on block)

Re: 4l80e harness ???

it would help them the most if they had all the wires to the pcm (including the little pin connectors that plug into the pcm)

De-pinning a LT1 or LSx PCm is simple and requires no tools what-so-ever

Dont just snip it

Re: 4l80e harness ???

Is one of the sensors on the trans the reverse light though? Or can i de-pin all the wires on it since i'm using a manual? also, i take it i'd just follow the wire all the way to the pcm plug ins, but then how do i get them outa the plug in?

Thanks guys i couldn't be doing half of this without you lol

You need to remove the colored pieces using something small, a screwdriver or thin piece of metal

Next pull the trim covers covering the wires by pinching them

Use your fingernail to pull the white tab back and the pin should push out
