Lt1 radiator heater core hoses

Doin the lt1 swap here is the drawing i stole off of shbox sorry shoebox

Do i route my lines like this?
Wont there be constant heat running through?
Can i put my heater valve in there somehow?

I had the auto store cut me like 6 ft of 5/8" and 3/4" hose. Ran them directly from the water pump to the heater core, having the hoses run on top of the engine.

If I stay LTx-based, I'm going to run thirdgen metal heater lines somehow.

If you want to have a heater valve, I would recommend one with only 2 connections, not 3, the 2 style one is easier to put in. Then just run the vacuum line to it that was connected to your old heater valve.
