Can you use your stock intake /filters
I've noticed everyone has replaced their factory intakes with CAI's, is this just a typical upgrade or is the factory intake no longer functional?

With an LSX motor, the factory intakes are way too restrictive. You can use it sure, but you're losing horsepower. It's just too small.

Yeah that's probably true. So does anyone sale a piece to cover up the stock location?

If you're starting with a TPI car, replace all that plastic stuff with the plastic stuff from an LO3 car. It'll help your cooling a little, too.

I want a polished/stainless plate to cover up that area? Anybody know where or if you can get them?
