found a good deal on LS1/T56 pullout

A guy I know that lives fairly close to me is selling a complete engine and trans pullout from a '99 Z28. It had roughly 100,000 miles when pulled. He will seperate the engine and trans if he finds buyers for both. Otherwise you can get everything for $3,500, which includes all accessories, wiring and ecm, pedals, clutch, cross member, hydrolics, etc. I can get you his number if someone is interested.

i have an 01 ls1 t56 setup with 39k on it for $3600 for sale right now. for a 99 motor with 100k on it, he should be asking about $2900 for that setup

I guess for our local area that price he is asking is good. A T56 swap alone is over $1200 no matter how you cut it. I got mine for $1200 and got a decent deal with a new-ish Spec 4 clutch. And when you consider he is giving you the pedals and hydrolics, harness, and computer, $3500 isn't too bad at all.

The guy may be negotiable, and he may be local to some people. That might be the sale winning decision right there. Mileage isn't always everything anyways.
