IMO you should just buy some new or used rails and not risk the leak

Either pull the rails, and take them to a GOOD tig welder, and have them weld on a new -an fitting...or get new rails. Dont mess around with fuel connections like that. JB Weld might work...until it doesnt work. Then you've got a fire.

you can try brazing the crack shut. just pull the rail and line out, completely dry it out, clean the metal, and braze it back on with a propane torch. just take the schraeder core out when you do it so you don;t melt the seal, then put a new one in it. I work on refer trailers and thats all i do to fix refrigerant leaks and its good for some outrageous 500 psi as long as the metal is clean when you start.

gas leaks are not one of those areas you want to play around with. nothing puts a damper in your day like a nice engine fire.

i'd search around the 4th gen sites to see if you can find a used set. shouldn't be too bad in price.

as would i. but the whole point of the forum is to give the original poster options and opinions. of course getting a new one is the best way to go, safe and trouble free, but it's not his only option, thats the whole reason why he asked. they're easy to find too. get one from a b body with either a l99 4.3 v8 or lt1 if you can't find an f body
