LSX IROC on hold

For now i had too install a voodoo 60103 and start slapping my 355 back together. Boy oh boy, such bad times i tell ya bad times

Re: LSX IROC on hold
Yea, to gte my big block together faster, due to lack of funds, iam going to have to use oval port heads and a damn flat tappet cam shaft, sucks so badly since i am going ot be stepping back from 600+ HP down to 550 or so. SUCKS.
I would do a cheap *** 5.3 or 6.0 for sure if i had a damn T56 for a LS1, but i have a LT1 T56, so it is not going to happen. THose things are just so cheap now.

i understand...my 6.0L build is getting cut back a bit because of financial situations...i was originally going to go with a set of trickflow 220's...now i'm back to using STOCK 317's...

Re: LSX IROC on hold
one of my stock 317's were cracked because the yard i got the pullout engine from dropped it off the fork lift when loading it... landed on the manifold and cracked all the way down the head. so i had to buy a set of 317's just to get the engine together and possibly runable

Is that one of the new GMPP LSX blocks!?!?

It's even more beautiful than I imagined...
EDIT: It's a 376, right?

Yes it is, that's the same thing I said when it arrived! I still can't decide whether to go 440cid or 454cid. But I think I'm leaning more toward 440, that way I don't have to go over a 4 inch stroke. They say for street use its not good to go over 4inches of stroke.

Oh. That makes sense. I'm going to do an LS1 swap once I have enough money to do anything at all. Lol.

Personally a 427 has a nice ring to it. Nothing like spinning a big block to 7K
