95 camaro lt1 into 89 caprice
hey everyone i just got a 95 camaro with 158k miles i want to drop the motor an put it in my 89 caprice i the lt1 motor runs strong but i want to upgrade it while its out any suggestions on upgrades or the swap within a budget of 2000?

How much hp do you want to make? Do you want a cam only or do H/C?

well i just want help with the engine not so much the swap but advice is nice im going to take the engine down to the heads i want to get the most power i can out of 1500-2000 dollars

If you are going to do a cam swap you need room in your budget to do RR,new PR, gaskets, valve springs depending on the cam a stall... You can give Lloyd a call and tell him what you goals are and he can help with a cam.

Another vote for Advanced Induction. They do great work and are very easy to deal with. I've got a set of their CNC ported Trickflow heads on my car right now.
