I have a 87 iroc z and i have a 96 LT1 from a cop car in it. having issues with wirirng. The car cranks but wont start, im thinking no spark but im just doing guessing games right now to figure wuts wrong, any help will be greatly appreaciated.

 

ok so i got it running but now itll start but only idle for 10 seconds then shuts off on its own, any ideas what it is?

 

Has VATS been tuned out of the PCM?

 

no i dont think so, what is vats? what does it do? where do i send it to tune it out?

 

Factory anti-theft

It does what you described when the correct key isnt used. To tune it out you need to hook a computer to your PCM and disable it. Most PCM tuners can do this no sweat
