Re: throttle cable?

LS1s used two different size TB cams. You must match the throttle cable to the TB cam

I think the years are 98-99 small cam, and 00-02 large cam. Google it and confirm

You must get a non traction cable. Normal cables go from the throttle pedal arm to the throttle body. Traction cables go from the throttle arm to the traction motor. Both the length and ends are different

Remember to put a large washer on the new cable so it can mount to the firewall

Dont worry about bending the pedal arm. It it just so you take advantage of the full throttle body range to WOT. Most people bend it a max of 1/2" but some are just fine leaving it alone

Get a Lokar cable and you won't have to worry about bending the pedal.

The B&M console Megashifter will work with a 4L60E. Of course, you can program the PCM to shift where you want it, so the Megashifter probably won't be of much advantage. I'm seriously considering going back to the stock shifter from the Megashifter when I do the LS1/4L60E swap.
