hey guys i just wanted to get some help and opinions on wether or not i should buy an lt1 for my formula. im looking at buying a LT-1 out of a 95 z28, downside is it has a bottom rod knock by one of the previous ownes did, said the guy who has it. he also said that the guy who had it parked it right after it had started. the only thing that its missing is the fuel rails. so how much should i pay for it? all i want is the wiring harness, computer, and motor. also i do plan on rebuilding it if i was to get it. or would it be better just to stick to my L98?

 

Stick to your L98 unless you can get it for $100 or less. LT1 long blocks are very common for not much more than that in running form. A rebuild would push the cost well over a good dropout with a warranty
