New LT1

I have a 92 RS and traded a stereo for an Lt1 to drop in it and need some ideas on what to do with it. I know I want more/better performance, but I also don't want to spend too much (knowing that nothing will be cheap). The block is currently at a shop and I may have it bored out or just honed, I don,t know what cam to get, headers anything you know would help, thanks.

Re: New LT1

A cam swap could run upwards of $800+ depending on other supporting mods you do. Did you get the tranny, wiring, ecm with it? Read this it should help with some questions.

Re: New LT1

Anything you need will have been covered in this forum. Also, in order to get the most out of your motor, a heads/cam package will be the best bet. I recommend Lloyd Elliot stage 2. This along with a good tune will put you in really good HP numbers. As long as the opti stays together, you'll be happy.
