95 LT1 swap into a 78 TA

i have a 78 T/A and a totaled out 95 vette. I would like to put the LT1 and transmition in the T/A. Is it possible and what would i need to take out of the vette to make this work. ie the wireing harness or the computer?

Since you aren't putting the LT1 into a 3rd gen, by the Board rules this isn't an allowable topic. Keep it "3rd gen applicable", though, and I can let it live.

Basically, read the LT1 swap sticky in the top section of this forum. It includes wiring details. You will need to hook up the same LT1 wires that you would in a 3rd gen, but detailing which of your 2nd gen wires to use would be crossing the line for "3rd gen applicable".
