Disaster stikes
Well I'm driving down the road today and going through an intersection and someone decides to run a red light. I had to swerve to miss them and ran into a curb. It banged up my K-member and cracked my oil pan
So now I need to find another LS1 f-body oil pan...sucks

Re: Disaster stikes
I will consider myself lucky
yesterday my alternator kicked the bucket...battery died
just as I was popping the hatch...lid motor stuck...
the design, its different than my other 91
hadnt played with this one yet...thought I had had it!
the spring even came off and
it doesnt go back in the place you might think it does...
everything is fixed now...thank God...
and it was like 140* under the hood
I couldnt touch anything...

Yea they just kept going. I trying to get the plates but they where going to fast and i was trying not to wreck the car. the car and I are fine though lol. The tow bill sucked.
If anyone has a LS1 oil pan setting around they are willing to sell cheap let me know.

I would have put it into them. Sure the car would be destroyed, but it'd instantly be their fault. Insurance check lets you fix the next car up right and do all the little things you skimped on the first time, plus they're off the road and cant do it again
