torque arm wondering..w/the lsx

Well Happy 4th, hope you'll can help.

91 camaro had installed in it the BMR track/off road torque arm set-up

by a buddy and me when I had the Ramjet 350 in the car with a Rich. 6spd.

We used the 2.5 inch stock driveshaft and the 30 spline yoke for the 6spd.

Now the LSX came along and I ordered a 3.5 alum. shaft and it didn't fit so I

got 3in molly shaft. It fits like the aluminum one but hits the same on the

torque arm. With the BMR plate for the arm that attaches to the rear, it had

2 sets of bolt holes to bring the arm closer to the driveshaft or keep it about

an inch away. Reason moved it closer to the rear pumkin because it

was hitting the tunnel. SO has anybody used this set-up and not cut the

bracket down, and did it give to the alotted clearance you were looking for

with a bigger driveshaft. Hawk said he used the same torque arm and fit a

3in shaft in the same area. But its a holiday and have only you'll to ask..I will

take pics if can....I just want to confirm this bracket deal before I purchase..tks
