HELP! replaced timing chain now no start!

i recenetly replaced the timing chain on my 95 LT1 motor that i have in my 87 trans am.when i replaced it i just ligned up the marks and put it back together, but i didnt check to see if it was at top dead center.

From what i remember there are 2 rotations of the crank and only 1 of the cam correct?

im also hoping that i didnt do any valve damage turning the crank without turning the cam too...HELP would be great!

Did you make sure it was at TDC before you took the old chain off?

There is the problem. Timing is way off. Set to TDC and THEN align the timing marks on the sprockets. You should be good then.
