Transmission: 4L60E W/ Yank SS3600
Axle/Gears: 3.27 9 Bolt BW
Gonna drop in the lt1 soon. So where do i hook up the chains?

so where do you guys hook up the chains to the lt1? I saw some use the front bolts and a intake bolt.

What state of assembly is the engine in when it will be dropped in?

I'd be wary of using the intake bolts on an LT1... IIRC, the bolts are quite small, and if they are aluminum heads, may not handle the load. The accessory bolt holes on the ends of the heads would probably be a better choice. Exhaust manifold bolt holes could also be an option.

Yea I figured exhaust manifold holes will do. What would be the siZE for the bolts? ' have beeen tod they are 3\8 16

I used the holes in the front and back of the heads with grade 8 bolts. works perfect with no problems. motor was complete with intake on it as well but no accessories of course.

one bolt on each side of each head does it.

I hooked up via exhaust manifold holes with grade 8 bolts worked fine andfit like a glove.
