how good of a deal is this?
I found an LT1 and 4L60E out of a caprice/impala ss cop car for sale on the good ol' internet the other day, the guy is only asking $800!! He says its low miles and runs good. What do ya think?

Cop cars usually don't have low miles, but they are well maintained. It's only a good deal if you can take it for a spin. Try to get the ecm and harness for a mostly complete swap. $800 for all that would be a deal, sorta. Don't buy into any rebuild nonsense unless he has receipts, seems to be alot of that now in days.

well maintained but remember they also beat the hell out of them. But for $800 i think its a good deal
