Trying to take my car to the paint shop to get the engine bay done since everything (I mean everything) is out of the engine bay. How )if you did) did you move your car around? Any help would be great.

 

So the whole k member is out? Can you just bolt it back in and put the springs on? That's all you really need is the springs to keep the front off the ground.

 

I have used an engine hoist to lift the front of a third gen onto a trailer before, but with everything out of the bay, I am not sure what you can attach it to.

 

How about a set of these with a 4 or 6 by 12 block of wood about 4 feet long and placed under the trans mounting area? You could drill holes in the dollies and run lag bolts into the wood. Just a tought, I have my front suspension out right now also.

Id put a K-member and A-arms back in at minimum. Springs would be nice but a block of wood will do in a pinch

 

I would use a large furniture dolley ($20-$30 at northern tool)

then use a piece of 4x4 post to bridge the gap where the k-member was.

You should be good to go at that point

 

Go get some air filled dolly wheels and make a frame to bolt in there. Or I'm with them... Just install the k-member back in.
