A few more questions (Lt1 swap)
I have a few more questions to finish my lt1 swap. I shall be getting my wiring done by Jon (Pocket) in a few weeks so that will be taken care of. I still have a few more questions:
1. I will be sending my pcm to get tuned was gonna send it out to just get emissions and vats deleted but for a few more bucks why not get it tuned. They have an option to delete the vss reading the pcm needs. I have gone ahead and done the 4l60e reluctor and vss wap on my 700r4. Is this still needed to disable? Or should I leave it? Would it cause problems?
2.My original 92 radiator might of been damaged by a small flood. I recall people using a 4th gen rad my concern is about the transmission lines. Do the stock lines match up with the 4th gen rad? Also do any vendors sell braided lines? Would be nice to route em away from my exhaust.
3. I am still having problems obtaining a tv cable for the swap, What is the lenght of the 93 4l60? And lenght of a tpi?
Thanks again for the help!

Re: A few more questions (Lt1 swap)
1. Need the Lt1 reluctor to get the speedometer to display correct speed. Disabled VSS probably means that the trouble code for VSS
Is disabled.
2. Use 4th gen rad with 3rd gen transmission lines. They will work together.

Cool. As for the vss I have done the reluctor and sensor swap. What I am asking is if with that I should not disable it from the pcm?
Re: A few more questions (Lt1 swap)
I recommend not to disable it but I don't think it really matters. Its not going to affect how the car drives. You are going to know right away when driving if something fails with the VSS circuit and your speedometer shows 0 MPH and your going 50 MPH. However, trouble codes help you narrow down a future problem.
Let's say your speedometer quits and you have the trouble code disabled. It could be something with the VSS, PCM, or just the speedometer itself. You don't know which of the 3 is causing the speedo not to work.
Now let's say you have the code enabled and the speedometer quits. You pull up the trouble codes and there are none so its not the VSS which means has to be either the PCM or the speedometer itself. You narrowed down to 2 possibilities right away instead of 3. All the trouble code will help you with is to narrow down where a future problem might occur.
For Question #3 - A GM dealership or gmpartsdirect.com should have the 93 TV cable.

No go on the cable. Knowing what lenght it is would be nice.
Also I went ahead and bought the a/c bypass pulley. I noticed that it had threads where the bolts go. My bolts have about 1/4 of non thread which make the install go bad. Do I need to get custom lenght bolts? Or do I have the wrong bolts? Might stop by lowes and get the bolts I need but no idea on the size.

Re: A few more questions (Lt1 swap)
I need help here firebat or anyone else. I have yet to track down a swap friendly tv cable. I am seriously willing to pay $100 for one. I got ahold of a 93 tb and bracket so this is basically the last thing I need.

How about $75? Try the link above, hopefully they have one in stock.
