ls1 throttle body..what is this and can I delete it?

ls1 throttle body..what is this and can I delete it?
Thought Id come and ask the gurus what this hose and connector are for and should I get rid of it and plug the throttle body.I dont think I missed any important sensors or connectors when I was wiring everything and routing it all.Im about to give the motor a good bath and found this just sitting there hanging down.
Any ideas?

seriously ? its the purge valve yes cap off the intake

thanks for the quick response.and if i knew then i wouldnt ask.ls1 are all new to me so forgive my stupidity about it.that part was sitting there and cracked in spots..id rather know what im looking at instead of guess and leaving it there.

just seen it asked before is all. I'm guessing you have all the emissions deleted from the pcm ? if not it will set some codes but that's all
