swaping a lt1 into a 89 trans am few questions
I'm in the middle of doing my first Lt1 swap to a 89 trans am and have a few questions.. I bought a donor car to do this swap it was a complete 94 camaro z28.. we are swapping the motor, trans, and rear end.. My question are...
What wires do I need to use to power the new pcm?
What wires do I need to splice to get the speedo to work?
And for the rear end the trans am has drum brakes the new rear end has disk brakes. Can I just use a proportioning valve off a third gen with rear disks?
Thanks for the help

Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.
Have you looked through the LT1 swap sticky in the top section of this forum?

It was in the sticky in the Engine Swap forum, but not in the LTx and LSx sub-forum. My bad.
