decided to finish cutting my hood. gotta get some sheet metal from my pops to make the sides and some mesh for the front. also decided to put the car on the ground and see how it looks.

Theyre a "test" set that i had made from a company. they sell them for about $150ish with like any font, colors or designs you want.

Re: My 5.3L 91 Z28 build thread (goin to be slow)
so the other day when i was testin the starter i noticed that the starter wouldnt crank if i put it in the "starter feed" plug on the c100 plug. i realized that the vats controls the starter and since my stock harness and ecu are gone i need to know how i can hook it back up the easiest way.

think i pissed the neighbors off tonight. my buddy came over to do some tuning and um well it ended up bein 10:30pm and yeah the car is open header right now. we had to let it run for maybe 10-15 seconds. afterwards we were heading to go get some Denny's and as were goin through my neighborhood we see a cop cruisin through with no lights on at all. lol

Wow thats pretty cheap im at $1500 for my sbc and im gonna be nowhere near as fast as yours
Re: My 5.3L 91 Z28 build thread (goin to be slow)
Man, that was a very fast swap. And it looks great too. And Im really lovin that Hood. I was being stubborn not wanting to buy any f-body stuff.(brackets, intake, and water pump). Of course I got the oil pan. But i was modding my hood but it didnt turn out like I wanted so I started over. Looking at your hood makes me want to try that.

Re: My 5.3L 91 Z28 build thread (goin to be slow)
yeah think im finally actually goin to be able to drive it. its been down the past coup0le days cause the cheap vette filter regulator i bought took a crap. (happened to my buddies volvo too) so since he works at a VW dealership he was able to get this filter that is pretty much the same thing as the vette one. took the car up the street and besides the tune being off it seems to run pretty good.
