Fixing to purchase LQ4

I was wondering what the fair market value is for these engines currently. The one i found is coming out of a hummer or something like that. It comes with computer and longblock without wiring harness or alternator, starter and something else little that i forget. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Fixing to purchase LQ4

Call your local wrecking yards, good way to gauge market value on such things. Really depends on where you are and how many stupid drivers you have that wreck vehicles. Could be anywhere between 200 to 1000 bucks. I will go middle of the road and say about 500.

Depends on the mileage. For a 6.0, I wouldnt go over $500 for a long block
