my odd ball 92 formula

first off id like to say hello to everyone, im a long time reader, hoping to share some things ive learning tearing theese things appart.
ok heres what ive got, i drug home a 92 formula that somone had decided to put a 307 olds with what im guessing is the trans from the cutlass the engine came from. ill post some pictures asap. the wiring it kind of a hack job, though i believe all of the connctors and wiring from the tbi are all the just kinde hanging out zip tied off.

oh yes and the plan, i recently wrecked a really nice looking and running 95 trans am, i have every bit of wiring, the engine(id just installed it a week b4 the wreck), pcm, 2 4l60e trannys my driveshaft, the whole torque arm and two 3.23 95 trans am /z28 rear ends. the plan is to install the lt1 4l60e combo in the 92.

the 92 was originally a 305 tbi car with a 700r4, now acording to what ive read up the 4l60e should sit in the car with the lt1 with some new engine mounts new tranny mount and an ac delete pulley. my main question is what is going to be the most bolt together way with the driveline parts at my disposal to get everything installed.

thanks guys, any help thoughts etc is always apriciated, ill try to get pics up asap

Re: my odd ball 92 formula

Take out the 307 and throw it away; sell the 200-4R core (those are somewhat sought after); put the LT1 and 4L60E into the 92, using the harness from the 95.

You'll HATE the weenie 2.73 gear. 3.73s would suit the LT1 better.

Re: my odd ball 92 formula

The '95 version of the 4L60E will bolt in the exact same as the '92 700R-4 did. No need to buy exotic parts, the stock stuff will work.
