L98 Racetronix Hotwire Kit... Any issues with LSx swap

I have the L98 Hotwire kit installed in my 92 and am wondering if there will be any issues using it on the LsX swap that I am planning. I am not concerned about the pump, just concerned about the harness, specifically on the alternator end of the harness. There shouldnt be an issue since the alternators are both on drivers side, just that the ls alternator is on bottom.

Please correct me if I may be wrong.

Was thinking that myself, but wanted other opinions/ experience so that I didnt have to purchase the "LS1" kit.

Thanks for your help

Simply put, its a relay. Nothing special about that. You can mount it to your lawnmower

I might buy one just so that I can mount it to my lawnmower. Wouldnt that be a show stopper?

Re: L98 Racetronix Hotwire Kit... Any issues with LSx swap

Ive had my hotwire kit sitting in a box for a while now. Ive been procrastinating on installing it, because I was afraid that if the pump saw the voltage that it SHOULD have it might fail haha. Also because...well I got lazy.

But its getting installed while the motor is out. Its a nice harness, and I thought about just building my own. But after seeing it, Im glad I didnt. Nice set up for sure.

Go to the JY and pull a relay with heavy gauge in/out cables. Fan/IGN relays are the usual suspects

Extend the 30 cable to 12v battery either power dist block, starter or alt output lug

Tee 87 cable to pump 12v wire on the sender

85 pin to grd

86 pin to PCM fuel pump control, R9 for LSx guys

Also a good idea to upgrade the pump grd to a heavier gauge wire since you're in there. Just tee in and take it to chassis grd
