wiring from battery

From the positive one thick wire to starter, one thick wire to alternator, smaller wire to power distubution box.

From negative one thick wire to block (near starter), one smaller wire to chassis.

A ground strap from engine to chassis.

Is this correct? Are most people using the stock fourth gen battery cables?

That's what I got too. No problem with redundant grounds either.

I'm using the 4th gen cables on both LS1 cars. Plus the 3rd gen grounds. Can't have too many grounds.
