Still can't get over how clean it looks with the Pontiac blue paint. Hat tip to ya man.

Very nice setup! Incredibly clean swap/engine bay. Definitely gave me some ideas for my own project, thanks!

The power difference will be huge. 5.3 is fun but 6.0 is AMAZING.

I mean... Firebirds are clearly superior, as well as their owners. We don't want to taint our group. :P lol jk

It's a stock shift **** from an 03-04 mustang cobra. Looks a lot better in a third gen! lol

I'm getting ready to perform an LS swap in my third gen Camaro. What were the measurements that you used to cut your K member?

I can't remember the exact measurements, but I measured the front of the oil pan and cut the K member by an inch further on either side. I went about 2 inches deep into the K.

Re: Quickshifts 91 Firebird LSX Swap journal

Quick question about your PSI harness because I am considering going down that same path. How does the PSI harness integrate with the stock harness in the car? Is there a way that they come together so that the gauges and everything work in the car? Just want to get a general idea of what I need to worry about before I drop the 500 on the harness. Thanks

The PSI harness is a standalone engine control harness. It controls the engine, and that's it. Very easy to install and work with. The guy at PSI (John I believe) has great customer service and will help you with any needs. The chassis harness coming out of the driver side firewall is what will control all of your gauges. You will need to trace the wires you need, and cut away the ones you don't.
