LT1 Project Need help/advice
Hello to everybody! I dont own an F-body but i have a 1991 S-15 Jimmy. Ive been a member on this board for a few months and mostly looked at tuning info for my 91 4.3 TBI.Thats all changed thanks to one fateful day at the junkyard and a weeks worth of overtime at work...

Heres where i start at: the way it looks is how it was in the car. Its all cast iron (from a caprice). There was no wiring harness, no distributor, no water pump, harmonic balancer, etc. I think you get the point.
I dont know the year cuz bein in a rush to get it home i forgot to get the VIN but im thinkn its 1995? I recovered the passenger bracket which was layin on the ground and i do have an ecu i bought on ebay (16188051) i hope its the right one.
I need help figuring out the pulleys. I know the harmonic balancer and crank pulley are integrated, but im not sure of the rest. Is there a drivers side bracket? I think the smog pump went there but it was laying in the car without a bracket. All i removed was the coil that was mounted on the drivers head.
Im goin back to the junkyard today to get the VIN number so i have some better info as far as wat year. Other than that im not sure where to start as far as assembling the front.
This motor is going to be entirely rebuilt before being installed but i want to make sure i have everything first lol. On that note is there any suggestions as what should be done when rebuilding. Im looking for a mild street rebuild and im looking at a fairly small budget (maybe 3k max). I will have all machine work done to freshin it up and renew everything. So far my parts list only includes a cam (i keep reading about a hot cam but not sure what it is) and some bolt-ons. Not real sure whats worth buying and what isnt on this motor. Kinda want a stroker but not sure of the machine work, parts needed (other than crank), or the ecu tuning. Only thing i know of is the s10 v8 swap headers lol.
If anyone has any info for me it would greatly be appreciated.
