HELP! Wiring a LS1 into 87 firebird
I'm wiring a LS1 into a 87 firebird everything has been going good just have a few questions.
I am installing a 1999 ta LS1.
Looking to hook pin # 33 (BLUE) purple to the brake pedal switch, dose it need a positive or a negative when pedal is pushed??
I'm looking to retain the Evap system. I see on my pin outs 3 wires for the Tank pressure sensor, 46 (blue) gray 5v signal, 23 (blue)gray fuel pressure and level ground, 64 (Red) DK Green fuel pressure sensor signal.
I only see 1 wire for the Evap control 45 (red) White Evap control is this wire wired directly to the evap solenoid and what do I do with the other wire on the solenoid?
Also I was going to install a different fuel level sender so the factory dash gauge works. Will this not work with the evap system? I see pin 54 (red) purple fuel level sensor. So the new sender would send a wrong signal to the ECM??
Thanks for any help!!

and on the fuel sender thats correct the easiest is to just convert the stock ls1 pump fuel sender to a 3rd gen fuel sender

i may have missed it, but are you using the 4th gen tank too? if you're trying to use the evap system, it will probably be easier to install that as well then to try and use the 3rd gen setup
