anyone doing an LT1 build, NEEDS this little, inexpensive, easy to install piece that can save your engine in the event of a broken oil pump drive. The LT1 uses a composite plastic oil pump drive head that bolts to the block. They have been known to crack and break, causing catastrophic oiling failure. Using this brace, will save the pump from failing if it breaks.



I bought one back when i was putting my LT1 together, its very cheap to buy (i think its $14 or $15)

just thought i would pass this along
