MAP sensor
MAP sensor
Will the MAP sensor from a '02 tahoe work for a swap if you dremel the wings off of it?
One Thread I read said that GM Standardized the MAP signals. So I'm assuming that it would would work. I just wanted to make sure before I started cutting.
Thanks!

Re: MAP sensor
the hole looks like it would fit, but I can't get the sensor to the hole, because of the wings on the sensor.
bad picture, sorry. but I think it kind of shows my issue. I don't want to cut those tabs or wings off of the sensor if it won't work. anyone try this before?

Re: MAP sensor
as long as it is a regular 1-bar off the gas vehicles and not the 3.3 off the diesels, it will work without pcm issue, you just need to cut off the extra set of fingers that get in the way of the intake.
Re: MAP sensor
Well, I trimmed the edges of it, and it fit. I included a picture. So if a person ever needs to, they can use a modified Truck MAP sensor.
Thanks for all of the help everyone!
