Desperately Need Wiring Help!!

OK, so this weekend I got some wiring done, but I don't know where to tap into to find these connections, and the hardest part about it all...i'm color blind. So finding colored wires is difficult to say the least!

This is what I need:

TPS, found
Tach, Found Location, but will the pcm be throwing a 4 cylinder signal or 8? I need to know for my autometer tach.
Oil pressure, Found the location in the gauge connector, but does that wire go directly to the sender? If it does i can use it, but if it doesn't i assume i can't tie that right into the autometer gauge

I took a bunch of pics, I really hope you guys can help me with this!

In the above 2 pics, is any of those wires what i need? THey'd be the easiest to tap into.

Also, What the hell are these wires for?

Also, it'd be great to not have to tap into the red and blue connectors on the pcm, idk if i could get enough slack in the wires to cut, splice, and solder in there.

Where are these connectors and what do they look like?

Re: Desperately Need Wiring Help!!

here is a pin out of the 2 dash cluster connectors. The wires are numbered as well so no worries on the colours for you. The only issue you might have is which side is the grey and which side is the clear/white side

Awesome!!!! Can't thank you enough man!

Quick question with the C1 13 pin (oil Pressure). Does that wire go through the PCM at all?

Re: Desperately Need Wiring Help!!

I used a autometer oil pressure sender that I attached to the oil filter housing. I try not to tap into lines as it adds to the electrical gremlins down the road.

Re: Desperately Need Wiring Help!!

Stock, the PCM outputs a 4cyl signal. This is supposed to be reset to 8cyl mode for swaps. Its a simple change either way

Oil pressure is direct from the sender to gauge

Only gauge wire in your C207 is MIL, but its easier to tap into from the old cluster connector

1st connector pic is cruise control from the stalk to the module harness under the dash

2nd pic with loose wires, I cant tell. Get a better pic of the surroundings and where it goes up under the dash

3rd is stock speaker wires

You shouldnt have to tap into the PCM wires to run aftermarket gauges. All wires except one can be found on your old cluster connectors. The remainder is for an electric speedo and can be found in the Cable-X bundle near your PCM, tagged speedo. Ignore the power and ground from the set

Is this done simply with the tune?

Oil pressure is direct from the sender to gauge

Great, makes my life easier for that wire!

Only gauge wire in your C207 is MIL, but its easier to tap into from the old cluster connector

If I use a LED, do I ground the ground wire and run the 12v to the MIL wire? In the above diagrams, it says the stock pcm provides a ground when necessary

That's the other end of the 1st conntector/ cruise control.

Thanks for all your help Jon!! I do have to tap into the R24 pin for the TPS, called HSW and they said thats the only place to get the signal if i don't want to run a wire into the engine bay.
