5.3 wire harness swap ?
5.3 wire harness swap ?
ok this might be a dumb question but im new to electronics. But im dropping in a 5.3 and i got the whole harness plus the computer and the car im putting it in is gutted. can i just use the harness as it is and just wire up my gauges, fuel pump and what not to the truck harness since im changing all that anyways and just figure my ignition out? any input would be apreciated thanks.

This is not an easy swap if you're new to electronics and wiring, so you really want to do a LOT of reading before you grab your soldering iron for the first time.

yea the truck harness needs some work before you can throw Into ur car, Im using a truck harness for my swap and I had spent at least 4-5 hrs pulling apart my wiring and labling all my wires and Im just starting to lay out my harness again on my engine to finish what is need, the links 1Adan have spoted are the ones I have used to do my harness.
