Anyone have a pic of where they welded the bung onto the headers and didn't have clearance issues? 6 speed btw

Re: Hawks Headers Wideband Bung Location

The AFR install instructions do indicate the sensor has to be within the collector section of the header, but I have talked to a number of people and from their and my actual experience have not seen issues with it located farther down the exhaust.

I have installed mine after the collector flange both with my previous 406 SBC and now with the LS1, both without issue. With the LS1 the front bungs that were are already used up with the H2O sensors for the PCM which is much more important than the AFR sensor for gauge indication. If you are tying the gauge into a data logger, you will need to re-evaluate locations.
