holley efi intake

Anybody running the holley efi ram intake on there ls3 heads? Wil it clear a stock hood? these things are cheap through this website. have jegs price match it and it is a steal!

no, it wont. ALSO.. it will NOT be street friendly like the holley stealth ram on the SBC cars. unless you are building a big stroker motor or have a mostly race only car.. dont even bother.

Last i remember it measured 13" from the valley cover to the top of the intake....

it's 12" but i have a 3 inch cowl but its not a functional cowl bummer!

there is build off race where someone puts one of these intakes on a 3rdgen. looks like a small cowl give the ability to clear the intake. maybe a 2 inch cowl. here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSlzUYOP-rc

I would really like to keep the stock flat louvered hood. But guess no go.
Would like to see fitment pics. But then again, there is no standard motor mounts for ls swap into 3rd gens. looks like all the mounts and after mkt. kmembers locate the motors differently. So gotta take that into consideration
