TPI MAF isn't interchable with LT1 MAF, right?

TPI MAF isn't interchable with LT1 MAF, right?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you cannot change out an LT1 MAF for a TPI MAF, and vice versa, right? They don't have the same outputs to the ECM if I'm correct.

I'm just wanting to verify this because I can't find the LT1 MAF that came with my dad's LT1 and we have a spare TPI MAF sitting around.

I think your correct. I think the read out to the pcm would be different. You can pick up a MAF
sensor for pretty cheap

Totally different

You're in luck though, the LT1/LS1 MAF is common on tons of GM cars. FWDs, vortec V6 and SBCs used it frequently
