2.8L V6 to 5.3L V8 swap

i purchased a 5.3L V8 that came out of a 2005 avalanche and was wondering what electrical components I can remove from that engine to make it still work in my 84 firebird.
what from the original 2005 wiring harness is needed to make the injectors work?

Check the LS1 swap sticky in the top section of this forum.

You basically need the harness from the donor car for the engine and transmission. You will be using the computer (PCM) as well. You '84 computer will go away. Your V6 transmission simply won't work.
