Just wanted to know what you are...

What you are running in the 1/4 mile with those 2.8l and 3.1l.

I had one 87 2.8 A4 bird 5 years ago but I never took it to the track then. I always found it to be quite slow but mods are for that

Most V8 guys that come around here are trying to laugh at us for having a 6 and it being slow. You'll find my times in my sig. The first sign of flames from ANYONE and it's locked. Everyone can post their times tho.

Oh goody,
More crap from Mr. CamaroVroom. (/sarcasm off). You wanna lose your car? Don't go offering to race for pink slips pal, if you can't back it up. And change your sig. You didn't magically pull 40hp out of a new exhaust. You sixers are a great bunch, but it's dumba$$'s like Mr. Vroom here that can give us a bad name. Nobody's fooled by you, and you're only making yourself look stupid by putting your kills list in your sig.
Sorry for the rant. Just had to get that out. BTW, I drive a 6 cyl bird, and I doubt I'm even in the 18's. It's got problems.

Carry on.

Chill out. Besides, would you really want to lose your car that bad? His LS1 will easily pull into 12's on a good night, and you're "pullin 190HP" which I seriously doubt, whereas he's puttin around 330 to the ground. Yes, to the ground, the LS1's were SEVERELY underrated so as not to get close enough to Chevy's flagship, the Vette.

OMG, you're claimin to have taken out a 95Z? And a 90Formula? You're funny man. You amuse me. Thanks for my daily laugh.

Was the Z in reverse, have a slipping tranny, miss a shift, start 1/8 mile late, wasn't even racing or what? There's no way you can do that. Even if you are pushin your so called 190HP. If it was a fair race, then you are smoking something to think you even came close. Oh wait, you're like that one guy who claimed to have a GM Aluminum racing engine and a carbon fiber body because he's an aerospace engineer, then in another post claimed he didn't know much about engines and couldn't afford a wiring harness, and he wanted to swap his supposedly awesome 2.8 for a 350.

The 3.8 in my '97 will give the v-8 in my '89 TA a run for its money! I like to come to the v-6 board to see what kind of mods people are doing to the six. If it works for the 2.8's, it should work for mine.

All of the cars I raced were friend's cars by the way (cept for the Stratus, he was just a *****). And Yes, I have been handed my @$$ more than I've won.

As to your ?, I believe it was an 89, maybe 91, somewhere around there. I think its a 4banger. She thought she could take me.

Hey Camaro Vroom,

I'll be more than happy to accept a pink slips race against ya. I mean, you already beat that '95 Z, so you should be able to whack my '97 good, eh???

I could use your '88 as a parts car for the '89, not that it needs one...what the hell, I'll race your *** in the '89, then drive you home in the '97 when you lose

I notice that he doesn't respond when we call him on his BS.

Anyways, I tested my 'bird with the G-tech. Anybody want results?

Drumroll please........

21.2 at 74 mph! I think with some tuning I can get it under 20!
We spent a good hour laughing out tails off!

That is full throttle and dumping the clutch at 3500 RPM. There was NO WHEELSPIN! I have a problem that most 3rd gen owners could only dream of. Too much traction. My car will maybe turn them over over once or twice in gravel.

Fun stuff!

I think I will hereby claim the title of slowest (running and street legal) 3rd gen on this board.
