Engine: 2.8l

Should i do this? need help

i have a decent amount of knoledge about everything in my car but not super educated on engine swaps. right now i have a 2.8l. my cousin has a new rear end for me, i am doing the breaks with this. i found a cheap lt1 with a 4160 trans. what other work will i need to do to make this work besides the engine trans brakes and rear end? and what parts should i make sure this lt1 has before buying it? pleae help, thanks

Use a search in the swap forum and read a couple build threads. It will probably answer your questions. If you get engine, trans, harness, and PCM, you most likely will have all you need for a donor car. You'll need engine mounts, trans xmember ect., a little searching will help you decide on what parts to buy.
