Fuel tank/pump

Hey all, I just finished my ls1 swap in my 91 Z28, last night trying to tune the car it died, no fuel pressure, I am running walbro pump and a C5 regulator, I took the cap off and holy cow there was a **it ton of pressure in the tank, not sure why any thoughts? I havent removed the charcol canister yet and the line from the tank is still hooked up, anyway wtf I need some been there done that info, any will help. Thanks Dan

Is it possible it was vacuum and not pressure in the tank? Either way, it sounds like the tank isn't venting, and it should be.
