LT1 conversion, won't start
Ok, so I have had my car for about 12 years, 6 ish years ago I swapped out the 305TBI for a 350TPI, then put a converted LT1 intake and heads on it, 383 Lunati Short Block, Hooker Super Comps, 30lb SVO injectors, racetronix fuel pump, stage 2 heads, ported intake, 3" X pipe, 3" duals, dual single chamber flowmasters, 3.73 gears, eaton posi rear, spohn SFCs, stage 3 cam kit CC306, 160 Tstat, LT1 starter, stage 2 700R4, 3000 stall TC, there may be more. Anyway, it didn't always want to start on the first try, but eventually it would start and be fine, I could drive it around and wouldn't fail me, and I changed the fuel filter b/c I drove it a couple months ago and it was stumbling and wanting to die, and now it doesn't want to start at all. It's getting fuel to the rails, I pressed in the pressure regulator and fuel shot out, it's getting spark, it just won't start. It'll crank and crank, but not start. I'm stumped, if anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it. I was thinking bad plugs, fuel injectors are dirty, I was going to change the Accel 8.8 for Taylor 10.4 and change out the cap and rotor.
Thanks

Re: LT1 conversion, won't start
Well, I got it running. I was right with my assumption and changed the cap, rotor, wires, and plugs and it fired right up. With it running rich, I just need to get it tuned now since it fouls plugs like Dwight Howard. Plus I need to figure out why the dash fuses keep blowing. Would you guys recommend upgrading the coil and getting an ignition box? I was thinking a MSD Blaster Coil and MSD 6AL.

The Blaster and 6AL should be more than plenty for that setup.
