Upper Rad Hose

Wondering if anyone uses the same front drive system that I am (new Camaro with vvt I believe). I got the kit from pace performance. Really really like the kit, mounted up awesome. But I need an upper rad hose. And this is really hard to find.
I've been debating on getting two 90* elbows in 1.25" hose and making my own rad hose, but what kinda fitting would I use to connect the two? I'm sure plastic wouldn't hold up.
I need it to go out like 6" or so to go around the cold air intake I made.
Basically the hose needs to go over top the cold air intake than loop under it into the water pump.
Wish we had a little more room with these cars.

Here's where I need the hose to go from/to.

The intake needs to go to the passenger side as well. Battery/coolant overflow is on the driver side.

Best bet I guess would be to bend a coat hanger to the approximate shape you need the hose to be, and are if you can find a close match to something hanging in the back if the parts store. The counter people usually don't mind letting you do this. Might get lucky and find something on the shelf that just needs an end trimmed or something to fit nicely.

Re: Upper Rad Hose

LS3 corvette upper is pretty darn close but a smidge too long. I ended up cutting the 3.4L V6 Camaro upper in half and using a 1 1/4" splice from lowes in the middle. I wouldnt worry about the pvc splice failing, several OEM systems use plastic coolant fittings in various locations

The V6 hose has one end longer than the other which is perfect for routing intakes under, like this

Spliced 3.4L, ends are reversed compared to the first pic

Note to future searches: This ONLY applies to the LS3/LSA drivers side port waterpumps

Re: Upper Rad Hose

I ended up gettin two 90* hoses that were 5" per side before the bend. Trimmed one up (on the water pump), used a plastic splice fitting like you mentioned. Clamped it all together and fitted my 4" intake through it just like yours. Works good and clamps are hidden by the intake.
Thanks guys!
