84 Camaro LS1 Swap - AC Compressor. PLEASE HELP
I'm sure you guys are tired of seeing these and I have been doing my homework on this common issue of AC Compressor clearance, but I haven't found any solutions tailor fitted to my particular problem.
Obviously, the compressor won't mount to the the stock location BUT I'm already running a UMI Tubular K-member with my set up and still having clearance issues. I am on a budget though and the Kwik Performance brackets on top of a new Compressor sort napalms my piggy bank. Maybe I'm just doing something wrong? Any insight is appreciated.
Thank you.

The UMI piece wasn't designed to accommodate the 4th gen ac compressor to mount in its stock location.

I'm actually in the same boat as you with a current build, and I haven't really looked into a solution. Quick and easy way out would prolly be the relocation kit. Maybe a smaller compressor or another accessory drive that mounts it in another location? I honestly couldn't tell you.

For anyone looking, the BMR K-member lets you use the 4th Gen compressor.
