n00b question: knock sensor...

I have my LQ4 almost done at the machine shop. I am doing a s475 with a carb blow-thru LQ4 with a TU2 cam. All assembled.. do I keep the knock sensors in the lifter valley or do I use something else? I am going to be running MSD-6010 ignition.

EDIT: The answer for my carb'd setup is a NO. do not need it... Found the answer on LS1Tech...just in case anyone wanted to know the answer.

I have no idea if MSD uses the knock sensors, but I guess I can say I'd be surprised if they don't.
